Sandra Gowl attended the Art Institute of Chicago, Illinois during her school days.  During her career in nursing, she attended several summer watercolor workshops and found time for painting on vacations.

After retirement from nursing, she took a few lessons in watercolor and had more time to pursue her love of painting.  Sandra continues learning from workshops, books, dvds and attending art shows and museums.  She paints in watercolor and acrylic and paints flowers, still lifes, animals, and landscapes.  Her favorite is painting flowers.
