Alex Sakes

Alex Sakes is a life-long resident of Arlington County and a 2014 graduate of Arlington County Public Schools. Since 2017, he has helped countless individuals, families, and businesses across Northern Virginia capture their most intimate moments through his photography. As an award-winning, nationally published photographer & photojournalist, Sakes was recognized among Arlington's 2022 "Best of the Best' photography studios by Sun Gazette News. As a photojournalist, Sakes' work has been published across numerous regional & national media publications including: the Washington Post, New York Times, ABC 7 News, Washingtonian Magazine, Arlington Magazine, and more. Sakes has serviced some Arlington County's top organizations, and businesses, including: Hilton Hotels - National Landing, the Mitchell Institute For Aerospace Studies, the Arlington Chamber of Commerce, Columbia Pike Partnership, Leadership Arlington, Doorways, Bridges to Independence, Arlington Artists Alliance, Center for Youth & Family Advocacy, Phoenix Bikes, Arlington Public LIbrary, and many others.
