Annie Ranjan

Annie is a lifelong artist that has been creating since she's been able to use her hands. Her first passion began with metalsmithing in high school in the jewelry classes she took, and it continues to this day. She has explored other mediums such as ceramics, papier-mâché, stained glass, block printing, drawing and painting to name a few. Her lack of focus on one medium has led to much experimenting and exploring with a variety of new materials and techniques. Her current focus is on watercolor with the subject matter suggesting women's vulnerability, while displaying a boldness to be empowering. She focuses on the segmentation of color and intricate, individual shapes in her images.
