A 42-year-old Black woman whose life has been marked by hardship, health battles, and heartbreak, she channels every ounce of her experience into her artwork. From surviving a stroke and major endometriosis surgery to living with complex mental health diagnoses, McLaurin has faced more than most—but through it all, she remains grounded in her faith, unwavering in her vision, and unapologetically creative. 

Her journey is not polished—it’s powerful. Raised by love, refined by trials, and carried by God, she has turned her pain into paintings, her survival into storytelling, and her hope into a business. With no formal roadmap, she left her full-time job and took a leap of faith, pursuing her dream of becoming an internationally recognized artist and successful entrepreneur.
