Beth Nogay Carenbauer

DC artist Beth Nogay Carenbauer creates art from the ordinary, showcasing the architecture and beauty of everyday objects in quilt-like wall hangings that reflect her West Virginia roots. The objects are “woven” with metal chain into unconventional tapestries.  The works challenge us to see the inherent art in overlooked objects and to re-discover the beauty that we hold in our hands.
