My art has several themes to it. I am a portrait artist. Big faces. Big features, historical figures, like, Allen Ginsberg, Bob Dylan, the Beatles, the Kennedys and Martin Luther King Jr., Louis Armstrong, etc.. A second theme is abstract artist, color field.
A third theme is as an artist influenced by music, and have painted iconic covers such as Dark Side of the Moon, Live Aid, Speaking In Tongues. A photographer of the local Washington DC area. I like exploring two interests of mine in art, where Art and History, American, World, meet together to form a journal of the times. Right now, I see my art portfolio including more acrylic paintings in addition to my oil paintings, in the future. I’m learning about different ways to produce acrylics.

2020: First Free Art Commission, pandemic art: My former store manager commissioned a free artwork of his Associate Manager’s hand, which was unique because that manager had Postaxial Polydactyly. This was six fingers on the right hand. I was able to take some pictures of the hand to work with. I immediately thought the work should be a Princess Bride reference, and it became the talk at work.
