Deborah Taylor

The natural world has always been an important part of my work. I tend to observe, study and practice. My work investigates light and shadow and the joining of those two families. I seek a balance in my paintings with an eye toward the emotional response.

Oil paint has been my medium of choice for years but I love experimenting with gouache, wax and water media.

Deborah is a long time resident of Arlington VA, has studied with many prominent artists and is an active member of Studio 10 Artists, an active member and former board member of both the Arlington Artists Alliance and The Art League.
