Galina Spivak is a Designer and Artist with a wide-ranging creative background. She was born in the Caucasus and immigrated to the US with her family in her late teens. Galina received education from the Corcoran School of the Arts & Design at George Washington University.

Currently, she has a versatile design career. Besides working on corporate projects, drawn to her ethnic roots, culture, music & nature, she creates expressive and dreamy watercolor and acrylic paintings.
Her works add beauty, elegance and authenticity to the decor.

Artist Statement & Inspiration
Spivak means singer in Ukrainian—a name passed down through voices that carried beauty, sorrow, and spirit across generations, structure and softness, tradition and reinvention. Her paintings are a return to the self.  A return to softness, stillness, and the quiet places we forget to look at.

Her art was born from contrast: between corporate grids and organic chaos, between the voice of a Ukrainian singer and the silence of an open field, between a childhood beneath Caucasus skies and a life now shaped by design in America.

Each painting is a passage—built not for spectacle, but for feeling. Trees don’t pose; they listen. Dandelions don’t decorate; they let go. The watercolors don’t shout—they seep, drift, blur, and bloom like emotion with nowhere to be, but here in the moment.
