Ginny Wright

Ginny began painting in watercolor in high school after taking her first art class and has worked in the medium for more than 30 years, creating personal cards and baby announcements. More recently, she expanded into landscape painting after studying with Jane Coonce. 

Drawn to the quiet beauty of the natural world, Ginny finds inspiration in the trees, beaches, and rocky shoreline of Cape Cod, where she spends as much time as possible during the summer months. Through realistic watercolor, she seeks to capture a sense of place and stillness, translating familiar landscapes into thoughtful, carefully observed scenes. She is currently building her portfolio as she continues to deepen her exploration of representational work.
