Jose (Pepe) Piedra

Jose (Pepe) Piedra, Peruvian artist, graduated at National University of Fine Arts of Peru.  Art comes from the mind of the artist creating it and not so much from the object or place observed. I am doing my best to turn my mind inside out and see what it looks like framed. In my paintings the reality loses its usual boundaries, both internal and external. I like to allow any and all influences into my world. Cultural or geographic, political or emotional. Painting is an unconscious filter of my experience. 

When painters work exclusively from imagination, doors open to unlimited potentials.
