Kat Jamieson devotes her energy as an artist to creating atmospheric watercolors and original studio jewelry. She notes, “Metalsmithing and painting are both joyful pursuits, working with the physical flow of each material and process: silver, pigments, fire and water.”
Kat has shown award-winning artwork in juried shows with the Arlington Artists Alliance, Virginia Watercolor Society, Virginia Beach Art Center, Maryland Federation of Art, Rehoboth Art League, Springfield Art Guild, Gloucester VA Arts on Main, Pleiades and Ladysmiths Jewelry Showcases. She holds a BFA from MICA (The Maryland Institute College of Art) in Baltimore, MD, and completed graduate work in Publication Design in the US and in England. She is an active member of Studio 10 Artists, the Arlington Artists Alliance and The Art League in Alexandria, VA.
