Linda Gaines

I am an engineer, so my day job doesn’t normally involve much creativity. My art allows me to express my creativity. I’m an environmental engineer, so my career is cleaning up and protecting nature. My art is often examining and celebrating nature’s beauty. I work mainly with textiles and other fibers, but I like incorporating other materials into my pieces to provide more texture and interest. For my crafts, I like making somewhat utilitarian items like wallets and bags with pretty colorful fabric to bring fun to everyday items.
