Nancy M Patrick

I’m  an artist in Springfield, VA, born on Staten Island, NY, expressing myself since childhood through various media - painting, oil and acrylic, arts & crafts, pen and ink, oil pastels, charcoal, mixed media ... Art is a realm where imagination and reality collide to produce a unique representation of myself.

A visual person, I have always loved the vibrant colors of nature which inspire my art. I take thousands of photos a year each with the potential to inspire a piece of art. (whether realistic, surreal or something in-be-tween.)

My Solo Art Show “Smiles Welcomed” at Art League Gallery in the Torpedo Factory, July, 2026 and other solo shows at The Franconia Governmental Center,  Green Spring Gardens Park and River Farm were well received. My art has been displayed in over 100 juried shows and venues in the Northern Virginia area, winning multiple awards. As a member/board member of seven local art groups I am constantly evolved in creation of art and expanding the art world to others.
