I am a fiber artist working in hand embroidery, needle felting, and macramé. After studying art history and spending a year in the NYC gallery world, I stepped away from art while pursuing a career in law. Years later, I have returned to art as a way to reconnect with tactile, intentional processes.
This practice led to The Joyful Art Project, through which I create and anonymously place small fiber artworks in public spaces such as parks and bus stops. These pieces are designed to be discovered unexpectedly, offering moments of lightness (joy) and connection in everyday environments.
While I continue this public-facing work, I am expanding my practice in scale and material exploration within fiber, maintaining a focus on texture, line, balance, slowness, and quiet joy.
