Tatyana Kliorina

I was born and raised in Moscow, then my family immigrated to America in the 1990s. I have been trained as a biologist, but I've been interested in art for a long time. I only  recently started to draw and paint. The artists who had the greatest influence on me include El Greco, The Impressionists, Sisley, Gauguin and Marc Chagal. Lately, I've been fond of watercolors and fascinated with the play of light and shadow on the surface of the paper, and the reflection of shadows through the paints. I prefer that my audience wanders through my paintings and images, while creating  their own thoughts.
