About the Event

Art Connects is an ongoing conversation with artists, educators, arts and humanities professionals, and community leaders exploring the vital intersections of art, education, entrepreneurship, mental health, and social connection.

Join us on October 10, 6–7 PM, for the second event in the series: Art Connects: Art, Style, & Sustainable Fashion, an engaging panel featuring interdisciplinary artist Sylvia Schieber, photographer and content creator Treva Ross, and textile historian and educator Katrina Orsini. Through personal storytelling, they’ll explore how art, fashion, and sustainability intersect in their work. This dynamic conversation will delve into how artists and makers are reimagining fashion as a sustainable, expressive, and socially conscious practice. Panelists will share how their work challenges norms, celebrates individuality, and invites deeper engagement with what we wear and why it matters.
