Arlington Artists Alliance and Gallery Underground are pleased to announce our debut partnership exhibition with Uniting US, a nonprofit that empowers veterans, military, and their families to inspire communities to heal, find wellness, and unite through art. Connecting Communities will showcase artworks by 30 military veteran artists or their family members. This partnership exhibition focuses on the healing power of holistic arts as well as the human connection found in shared experiences.

Food for the opening reception is generously provided by Ted's Montana Grill.

Additionally, Gallery Underground will host Community Day with 8 artists talks and demonstrations and a collaborative art activity for visitors. The event also features our partners Fidos for Freedom, a nonprofit whose mission is to enhance the quality of life for people in the Washington-Baltimore Metropolitan community by providing specially trained hearing and service dogs, combat-related PTSD dogs, and therapy dogs. Come by Gallery Underground on  Saturday, July 15, 2023, 11:00AM-3:00PM to interact with these talented artists and say hello to our furry friends!
