About the Event
The inaugural show at the NEW Alliance Gallery @The Crossing Clarendon, Ad Astra Per Aspera, is a group show featuring Eleftheria Easley, Justyne Fischer, Pedro Ledesma III, Anna Nazaretz Radjou, and Nicole Tobin. Curated by Christina Papanicolaou, the show embodies themes of empowerment through textile art, collage, print, and photography.
Through their work, the artists confront a range of social and personal challenges, such as gender and racial inequality, the fight for self-empowerment, and the struggle to connect in the digital age. Alliance Gallery’s inaugural exhibition Ad Astra Per Aspera celebrates the human spirit’s enduring strength and the fight for a better future. The Alliance Gallery is an initiative of the Arlington Artist's Alliance.
